First PhD paper

Listen to this article

My first PhD paper has been accepted and has reached the final publication stage. It was an algorithm I developed to detect holes in triangulated geometries. I developed this couple of years ago while I was implementing an algorithm suggested by my boss. Although my boss was not very enthusiastic about this work, I thought it was a neat little algorithm and decided to publish it. It received a surprising amount of criticism from peer reviewers. But we were able to defend it and publish the paper.

If any is interested in reading this paper, have a read here . If your university does not have a subscription to ASME, poke me privately, and I shall send a copy to students/researchers.
