It has been a while since I shared anything here. I do not want to be in this rut forever. This post will hopefully do that correctly. Since last time, I have been through a few changes (at least geographically), and it has been both good and bad. For those who do not know me, I was working as an entry-level developer in a Grid generation software company in Bangalore, India. It is an exceptional organization with a small but well-motivated workforce. I couldn’t have chosen a better place to start my career because I learned so much. I went from a university student to a responsible adult in a brief period. I had a very smooth first year at the company. The second-year started with some friction which grew too big towards the end, and I decided to change paths finally. However, I think with more intellectual and emotional maturity; I would work there again shortly without giving a second thought. Since I left Bangalore, I moved to a small town in a European country. I have very much mixed feelings towards moving here because sometimes it feels like I have been scammed into coming here. As a person looking to learn, I adapted to the environment to some extent and tried to focus my time and energy on continual learning. There are a lot of toxic people at every level, and it is turning me into a very bitter individual. Even though I often choose to ride the pessimistic rails of life, its too much negativity even for me to handle. But I came here with a singular goal and worked towards it. I will soon know if my journey continues here or takes me home for good. Either way, I hope to let all of you know of the roads I walk so that you can avoid what I should have avoided.
